The Hartford Boys Track & Field team delivered an outstanding performance at the Bloomingdale HS Meet yesterday, earning a decisive victory over Bloomingdale, Comstock, and Marcellus. The Huskies were powered by multiple first-place finishes, including Alex Diaz’s wins in both the 200m and 400m, as well as strong distance performances from Josais Robles, who took first in the 800m and 1600m.
Hartford also dominated in the field and relays, highlighted by a first-place finish in the 4x400 and 4x800 relays. Additional event victories came from Bryan Ocelo in the 3200m followed by Jovany Garcia-Hernandez, Juan Romero in the 110m hurdles, Eduardo Zarco in the 300m hurdles, and Jairo Lorenzo Reyes in the long jump.
Hartford showcased a complete team effort in securing the meet win. Congratulations to all athletes on an impressive showing!

Due to projected rain, JV Baseball @ Lakeshore is being cancelled this evening.
Class of 2022 Hartford High School Alumni, Kaden Johnson has signed with Eastern Michigan University on a basketball scholarship to play his final year of college.
Kaden began his collegiate career at Goshen College before transferring to Huntington University, where he put together a phenomenal season. He earned First Team All-Conference honors, was named Defensive Player of the Year, and achieved NAIA All-American recognition. Kaden graduates from Huntington on May 2nd and will play his graduate year at Eastern.
For Kaden, this move to Division I is about more than basketball—it’s a testament to years of hard work, perseverance, and belief. His journey shows that talent can rise from anywhere, no matter how small the starting point.

Hartford beat Lawrence 16-0 and 21-0 Thursday. Both games only went three innings.
Game one Kinsley Kronewetter got the win on the mound. She gave up one hit and zero runs while striking out seven and walking one.
