High School Students of the Week (2/16/24): 9th: Timothy Fife-Goodrich-nominated by Mr. Blackmer: Timothy found sunglasses in the parking lot and made sure to turn them in to the office so they could be claimed. Thank you Timothy! 10th: Jose Sanchez -nominated by Mrs. Heil: Jose sold the most fundraising tickets for Spanish club and his efforts to participate in the club and do good things for our school are very much appreciated! 11th: Marissa Kemp-nominated by Mrs. Macias for always being kind and thoughtful. She happily went out of her way to take orders for Valentine's flowers from her Tech Program and deliver them with a smile. She has always been someone who gets things done and has a kindness in her heart. Mrs. Macias just wanted to let her know that she appreciates her and all she does. 12th: Harmony Perez-nominated by Mrs. McNitt: Shout out to Harmony for reminding Mrs. McNitt about the senior spotlights for class of 2024. After Harmony brought this to her attention, Mrs. McNitt was able to get a message to the right people to get this awesome display of our seniors rolling for the class of 2024. Great job, Harmony. Mrs. McNitt appreciates you!

More Students of the Week in February! 10th Katlina Wadlington, nominated by Mrs. Lemieux: Lena is an amazing young lady. She is the go-to person for recycling and she is always willing to help others out. She has a great attitude and is a great role model for her peers. 10th Preston Pries, nominated by Miss Mireles: Preston took it upon himself to clean up the choir room and put things away without being asked. He even stayed after the bell to finish. Thank you Preston! 12th Rachel Kiefer, nominated by Mrs. Tejchma: when Mrs. Tejchma asked students to push in their chairs at the end of the day in library, some students did not. Rachel walked around pushed all of the chairs in before she left. That was very thoughtful of you. 12th Charlee Barchett, nominated by Mrs. McNitt: Charlee is an outstanding student that shows dedication to her academics and kindness to those around her. She has a positive attitude and always encourages those around her.
