 There are a lot of Powder-Puff jerseys that were loaned out that have not been returned.  Please return them to Mrs. Manning as soon as possible.

The Girls Cross Country team traveled to Portage Saturday to take part in the Portage Invite, one of the largest Cross Country meets in the Midwest.  With perfect weather and close to 300 runners, the Lady Indians ran well.  The top five for Hartford were:  Marisol Robles, Angela Saldana, Jamie Smith, Lexie Griffith, and Izzy Heminger.  Hartford will travel to Bloomingdale this Saturday for the Cardinal Invite.

 The Van Buren Tech Center is hosting their annual College Day Event tomorrow – Tuesday, October 10 from 11-12PM. There will be over 60 colleges, the various military branches, and vocational trades programs represented at this event. Any juniors and seniors who are not already students at the tech center may sign up to go on this trip in the Guidance Office. You must sign up by next Friday October 6 in order to attend. Students who go to the tech center will already have the opportunity to go to the fair during their classes at the tech center so please do not sign up for this trip.

 There will be an NHS meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 11 at 2:50 in Mrs. Macias's room.

 A representative from Alma College is coming to our school tomorrow.  If you are interested in attending Alma College and would like to listen to the presentation, please sign up in the Guidance Office.
